Green Fairy

Green fairy designed for Jim Y. Doll is a 44 cm Bobobie Sprite with gLib eyes and hair from The Junky Spot. Outfit includes green multicolored underdress made of sari fabric with sheer iridescent overdress, both with embroidered ribbon trim, and flowered hair garland. Purchased satin slippers with gold trim.

Sleeping Beauty Costume, designed and constructed for a DoA swap. Vintage black cotton velvet over skirt and vest, with embroidered trim. White crinkle gauze underdress trimmed with white lace. Modeled by Resin Soul light blue Fei (41 cm), white gLib mohair wig.

I can’t believe it has been over a year since I posted! Life gets in the way. I am back designing and sewing and hope to get this new auction up on Saturday, May 7th. This auction is called “Solntse”- or sunshine! It features a yellow and orange iridescent dupioni silk dress, silk brocade overskirt, embroidered trim corset, and brown vest with embroidered trim. My model is the beautiful Cerebres Project Lishe (58 cm).

Luck O’the Irish…

Lastochka takes a trip to the Emerald Isle with an outfit designed for Saint Patrick’s Day. Black cotton ruffle and lace skirt (with bottom ruffle of silky sequined crinkle fabric), black cotton blouse trimmed with green and gold trim, and green velvet vest. Over that- a shamrock apron, of course!

The Little Gypsy

The gypsies are back in town. This young lady insisted to me that the horse followed her home of his own free will, and that the farmers gave her the fruit and vegetables. I didn’t question her. Gypsy costume for MSD. Modeled by Souldoll Apple. Horse by Battat from Target. Location: Gualala Point Park on the Mendocino Coast.

A Walk in the Woods.

A walk in the woods during a break in the weather in Late Winter. MSD size Chai outfit includes deep purple panne velvet morning coat, trimmed with embroidered ribbon and tied with purple ribbons ending in iridescent pearls. Underneath is a loose under-dress of purple and gold brocade satin with reverse pattern bodice and sleeves. Vintage lace apron and lilac cotton Russian crown included in the outfit. Modeled by Iplehouse Tatiana (Basic).

I looked for a 1/3 scale Samovar for a long time before I found this beautiful child’s Samovar from Soviet Russia. This was probably one of the most exciting prop finds I have ever found!
